The conference will be held at the Alexis Park Resort. The hotel is located across the street from the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino, and is within walking distance of The Strip. Although some might consider it a somewhat long walk. BE sure to insist on the ApacheCon conference rate when booking your room.
Rooms at the Alexis tend to be large (often with a sofa or second bed), in reasonable shape, but a bit dated; most have a small fridge (but no microwave). Broadband is available in all rooms for a fee. Wireless networking is available in some rooms, depending on exactly where you are. There are several outdoor pools at the hotel; one is usually heated for a morning dip. Be prepared for some walking; if you get your room late you'll probably be at the far end of the property with a 3 min walk to the conference floor.
