The Apache Software Foundation (ASF) invites submissions to Apache Asia Roadshow 2009 Beijing event, taking place on 28&29 November 2009 at ZhongGuanCun, Beijing. Apache Asia Roadshow 2009 is a series including events in Beijing, China and Colombo, Sri Lanka, serving as a forum for showcasing the latest open source projects and community initiatives, from Apache and other organizations. It brings together the open source developers, users, and vendors from the world to share their exciting experiences, exchange ideas, and buildup network.
Apache Asia Roadshow welcomes submissions across many fields, geographic locations, and areas of development. The event consists of two sessions. One is Barcamp on 28 Nov that is loosely-structured in a way that the participants propose topics and present to the interested audience. The other part on 29 Nov is conference that is more structured with invited keynotes, presentations, and panel discussions. You are encouraged to submit for either or both of the sessions, with topics on any of groundbreaking technologies and emerging trends, best practices (from development to deployment), case studies and lessons learned (tips, tools, and tricks).
