Calendar of events overlapping an ASF Presence
In scheduling ApacheCon, the planners go to great lengths to avoid conflicting with other shows, in calendar and/or geography.
The shows below have some historical presence by speakers and committers, or simply attract a similar audience, which may detract from ApacheCon attendence and a successful event. We include ApacheCon events which have been calendared to show them in relation to other events.
That said, this list of conferences is by no means a guarantee that the ApacheCon event can or will avoid every conflict listed below, or that this is in any way an endorsement of events listed below. The keys to choosing overlap are (1) is this a developer-focused event, and (2) do that set of developers rely on ASF software in their development. Open Source v.s. Closed Source is a secondary concern when avoiding conflicts, it's the end users whom we are concerned for.
