Short List of Object Brokering options:
- Phoenix JMX adaptor
- Merlin JNDI bindings (still under development)
- Cornerstone rmification
- AltRMI
- Enterprise Object Broker (http://enterpriseobjectbroker.org/)
Of these, only the Merlin JNDI Binding, AltRMI and EOB allow for the direct export of Avalon services without requiring any additional remote or mbean wrappers. The Phoenix JMX bindings are used more for block or component management.
