This planning page is for public consumption, but it should only be edited by developers (not necessarily only by committers, but by people who are willing and able to contribute feature code). For a more user-oriented wish list, see WishList.

Next Release: Goals

The next major release is about simplicity and increased ease-of-use, possibly including things like:

making ramp-up on building apps with Beehive drop-dead-easy
simplified annotations and configuration
fast, smooth iterative dev experience

Beehive is well-positioned for this (e.g., with its single-annotated-file model), and it should be the motivation behind much of what we do for the next release.
