People love to use abbreviations in mails, however these are often confusing for other (especially new) users:

  • [RT] ... random thought

  • [SUMMARY] ... summing up of a problem and proposed/working solutions to it (if possible, summaries should be done on this Wiki, with the SUMMARY mail containing only a link)

  • [WOT] ... way off-topic. Wide open throttle elsewhere.
