I've been a Java developer since 1996, and a Cocoon user since version 1.0. I'm an avid reader of cocoon-dev, and have grown so intimate with the Cocoon source, I contributed patches to version 2.0.x.

I worked as a consultant for several years, spending time at PC World Online, Hughes Space and Engineering, Amgen, and the ill-fated eToys. Since 2000 I've been a technical lead at UCLA Medical Imaging Informatics, using Cocoon as the basis of DataServer, an open source, XML-based framework for secure data retrieval, management and integration of medical records.

I am also the spiritual leader of the CocoonUserGroupLosAngeles.
