For anyone bringing kids, \[http://www.ark.ie/ The Ark\] is the only place to be. A fantastic children's theatre and arts centre, it often hosts workshops to go alongside its musical and theatrical programs.

Historic

Wiki MarkupFood! There's a Vons (full service) Grocery about 3 miles from the Sheraton. Here's a \[http://tinyurl.com/cjszw map\] of the route. If you walk, stay on the south side of N. Harbor until you come to the foot bridge, then cross and make your way up Nimitz. We took a taxi back for $5.

There are a couple of parks just west and within a mile or so of the Sheraton on N. Harbor including the Cancer Survivors Park.
