Google Summer of Code Meetup
Event Description
This event should be the first formal ASF GSoC meetup for 2012 and should aim to bring together mentors and student teams from this years program, potential mentors and students for next years ASF program and of course everyone and anyone interested in finding out about the ASF's involvement in GSoC and how they can get involved.

One of the great (and encouraged) aspects of GSoC is that it brings employers and potential employees together. A primary area of focus for ACEU has been engaging students and therefore it should be a great oppertunity for employers and potential employees to meet, discuss and build networks.

Event Description
This is an event to be held outside the venue. The idea is to utilize a bar or something where interested people and companies who are not attending the event can learn about Apache. Maybe we can get one or two community presenters to give a ten minute talk. Or we can have some kind of moderated discussion followed by relaxed open event, where people can speak with committers.
