Abstract
Fortress has just completed its first year as a sub-project to the Apache Directory. What has happened during this time? There will be an overview of the project's history, roadmap and how moving to be an Apache project has benefited both product and community. This presentation will end with a demo on how-to integrate Fortress' security authentication and authorization checks into a sample Tomcat Web app.
