Content Decision

An important part of curating the Weekly News is deciding which content will be included and which won't. Main criteria are e.g.:

List of all Weekly sections, including description and annotations

Please note that some sections are only included in the Weekly News under circumstances (e.g. "Releases" is only included when there's a new version of CouchDB; "CouchDB Weekly Meeting" is only included if a meeting has been held in this week; etc.). These sections are marked it *. All other sections are fixed, unless there's just no items for them.

Formatting

There's a recurring structure which can be seen e.g. in this post . There's also a sample post which can be used as a template. Generally, the Weekly News looks as following:

Releases

CouchDB Weekly Meeting (see summary)

Major Discussions

Major Discussion Topic 1 (see thread)
