New system procedure for invalidating stored prepared statements. |
There will be a short paragraph describing this feature in the Release Notes. That paragraph should include advice about when this procedure should be run. The paragraph can just duplicate the advice given in the Reference Manual topic which describes this procedure. I have verified that the feature behaves as described in the Reference Manual. See my 2012-10-26 comments on DERBY-5578. |

Unencrypting databases. |
Buddy testing of this feature resulted in some follow-on issues: DERBY-5968, DERBY-5969, DERBY-5970. I believe that enough progress has been made on those issues that we can declare victory on buddy-testing this feature. |

Derby on device-profile VMs. |
Tested Derby on Compact Profile 2 using both automatic and manual tests. No issues found. Verified that the old data sources could still be registered to a JNDI service and retrieved from it after the reorganization of the data source class hierarchy. |

In addition, more work was done on the original issue via these patches: derby-672-22-aa-makeModeAggregateStateSerializable.diff and derby-672-23-aa-improveJavadocForAggregator.merge.diff. |

Tested tools and reference manual documentation for optional tools using another Derby database as the foreign database. Filed DERBY-6123 for doc improvement. Feature works as documented. There may be name conflicts with user routines but that should be ok as these are optional. |
