Overview

Derby includes two type 4 JDBC drivers, embedded and client. Support for JDBC 2.1, 3.0 (& 4.0 with the upcoming 10.2 release) is supported as well as the JDBC 3.0 subset for J2ME/CDC/Foundation, known as JSR169.
