THIS FILE IS CURRENTLY OUTDATED!
THE WIKI SETUP HAS CHANGED WITH THE UPGRADE. PLEASE SEE http://www.apache.org/dev/reporting-issues.html#wiki
You can do it yourself!
Anyone in the "apsite" unix group (which is a lot of people; there's usually at least one person on a PMC) has the ability to create new wikis, change configuration settings, etc etc. A word of caution: this is the actual live wiki data, and if you mess up, well, things are immediately messed up. Fortunately, the basic wiki configuration is /real/ easy to do, just SSH into minotaur (this box), and take a look at /www/wiki.apache.org/README. If there's no-one on your PMC who has apsite karma, or you're having trouble figuring it all out, talk to the infrastructure mailing list people.

Contacting infrastructure
If your PMC cannot manage it, then you can try to get one of the infrastructure people to do it instead.
Wiki admin requests should go to infrastructure at apache dot org, and the e-mail subject should be prefixed with [wiki].
Note: it may take a while for your request to be handled. Remember that the Apache Infrastructure Project is just like all the other ASF projects - it is a group of enthusiastic and over-committed volunteers.
If your request is for a new project wiki to be set up, take these steps:
- discuss the plan with the appropriate development teams and gain consensus.
- make sure the appropriate Project Management Committee (PMC) wants to have the wiki set up and assume responsibility over it.
only after #1 and #2 are done, send an e-mail. Please use the following template:
From: ${you}
To: infrastructure at apache dot org
CC: pmc at ${project} dot apache dot org
Subject: [wiki] request for new ${project}[-${subproject}] subwiki
Please set up a new project wiki for ${project}[-${subproject}].
