Marmotta versions are composed as "*A.B.C*", where:

  • A denotes the version.

    • Marmotta started with version 3.0
    • All previous versions were actually part of LMF

  • B denotes a major revision, where even numbers are public releases, while odd numbers are used for development snapshots or internal deployments

  • C indicated minor revisions (bug fixes, security updates and so on)

    • All versions with the -SNAPSHOT suffix are development snapshots that should not be used in production systems

    • The suffix -incubating refers to those releases under Apache Incubator
