Cocoon - to produce a high quality tool for building better web sites and applications. Unlike Cocoon it is written in a combination of C (for performance) and Perl (for run-time compilation and flexibility). It supports many similar technologies (XSLT, XSP), but came about independantly around the same time.
AxKit has an entirely separate web site at http://axkit.org/ (because we like to eat our own dog food and apache.org won't run AxKit), including its own wiki.
