This page used to be the prime example, now it is only a pretty-good example. The thing about web pages is the shorter they are, the more useful. At the same time they need to be neither too deep or too dense.

This page uses the BigBlockOfTextSyndrome as a technique to attempt to make you read the page (because if you don't you'll miss the "here" link).

Pages suffering from the BigBlockOfTextSyndrome generally were done with the best of intentions, to make sure all the things you need to know are right where you can get at them. However, the author didn't manage to organize his thoughts or his prose well enough to take the reader into consideration. Most people have difficulty reading such pages, and furthermore, ADDoid folks tend to be attracted to the computer industry.

Avoid BigBlockOfTextSyndrome, organize your thoughts and your prose into a format which informs the user.
