Forrest is an XML standards-oriented project documentation framework based on ApacheCocoon, providing XSLT stylesheets and schemas, images and other resources. Forrest uses these to render the XML source content into a website via command-line, robot, or a dynamic web application.

Getting Started
Much effort has gone into making the initial Forrest learning-curve shallow. With the following (unix) commands, you can go from nothing to a rendered skeleton site:
