Xalan
Xalan moved from using bugzilla to JIRA on September 3, 2004 for bug and issue tracking.
The ASF board passed the proposal that Xalan be an Apache TLP (Top Level Project). The Xalan PMC is:

- Brian Minchau (Chairperson)
- Dmitry Hayes
- Henry Zongaro
- John Gentilin
- Matthew Hoyt
- Ramesh Mandava
- Santiago Pericas-Geertsen
Xalan is now in the middle of getting its own PMC mailing list. The first use of that mailing list will likely be for the Xalan PMC to disucss a new mission/charter. Xalan is currently running under the old XML mission/charter.
Xalan-C++
Xalan-C++ is working on a new point release, an update from 1.8 to 1.9
Xalan-J
Xalan-J is running smoothly with the usual patches to the existing 2.6.0 release. There are no major or minor service releases on the horizon.
