new Meetup planned during ApacheConEU2009

Please check out MeetupAmsterdam2009 !

Amsterdam, Monday April 7 2008 - 1PM to 6PM

The Apache Portals Community is preparing a Meetup on April 7th in Amsterdam along side and in cooperation with its larger sister conference, ApacheCon Europe 2008, http://www.eu.apachecon.com/.

We like to bring together not only project committers from Portals Pluto, Jetspeed, Bridges and WSRP4J and other related projects, but also our community users and other interested parties.

This Meetup will be organized as a low-barrier community driven event and free to attend!

We will have a room and essential infrastructure (wireless network, free drinks) within or nearby the same building as where the ApacheCon is held to organize our mini-conference about anything of interest for the Apache Portals Community.

You are invited to attend and to propose a relevant subject you'd like to hear more about or even present yourself. To do so, login to this Wiki and simply edit the page, see also: HelpOnEditing.

As has been our experience in the past, short presentations slots of about 30 min. works best and allow for enough and divers sessions to create a very interesting conference day for all attendees.

See for further information this archived message on the Apache Portals General mailing list.

Where and when

The Meetup will be held at Pakhuis de Zwijger, right beside Hotel Moevenpick where the ApacheCon is held (Google Maps).
