Fuad Efendi
Fuad Efendi started with Nutch search engine in 2005; strange coding quality and lack of buzzwords attracted him quickly; he started using SOLR in production environment in 2006. However, it was just parttime hobby, late evenings and weekends... till now.
Fuad Efendi participated at Lucene Revolution 2011 and found "technology coverage" strange and narrow: mostly use cases and blatant ads... where were LingPipe, Mahout, GATE, Weka, CIA, KGB? But it was nice to see you all there 
Fuad Efendi is currently working for Big Data -related projects for financial industry; he also provides Lucene and SOLR development support and consulting services, he is founder of Tokenizer Inc.
