The Bonded Sender Program (BSP) program was originally operated by Ironport, and was sold to [[http://www.returnpath.net/|Return Path]] in 2005.  It was later renamed to Sender Score Certified (SSC), following many improvements to the membership criteria.

Bug [[https://issues.apache.org/SpamAssassin/show_bug.cgi?id=5977|#5977]] mentions a lack of a clear complaint procedure available to the SpamAssassin community.  This has now been resolved.
