This is an experiment to gauge how well a community-edited translation of SpamAssassin texts works. I picked three languages with high proportions of user activity on the spamassassin-users mailing lists as the initial experiment.
When the translations are done, a community member needs to file a bug in bugzilla with a version of the translations that can be shipped with SpamAssassin (as an attachment in the correct final character set).
While on the Wiki, the translations are in UTF-8 (the only option for this Wiki software), but in final SpamAssassin, iso-8859-1 or another more appropriate character set should probably be used.
