Suggestions for Submissions:

Feature Improvements

  • a new transport: e.g RSS, UDP or other
  • enhance the types of object that can be exposed as services:
    • - JSP or servlet - JWS or Java Class deployer
  • support for JSR 183 WS annotations
    • - for .class stuff - for JWS
  • an eclipse/idea wrapper for the runtime
  • xslt provider to allow services to be implemented by .xslt files
  • script providers: php, bsf, or rhino, including E4X
  • a fast binary ser/deser of AXIOM

Samples :

  • an open office plugin for axis2 to allow open office apps to
  • invoke web services (and to become web services)
    • - write a sample to pull data into a spreadsheet - write a sample to pull in google maps into a word document

Features and Samples are not limited to the above list and competitors are welcome to be creative and come up with their own ideas. The judges will be looking for creativity and relevance. The judges are not expecting polished completed codebases but will score working beautiful code more highly than buggy junk.
