Introduction
Web Services Addressing (WS-Addressing) implementation is basically a Soap Handler which interacts with soap messages to put and get information to and from the xml soap headers.
WS-Addressing provides following features
- Enables messaging systems to support message transmission through networks that include processing nodes such as endpoint managers, firewalls, and gateways in a transport-neutral manner
- Allows session management over the network which uses heterogeneous transport protocols in different nodes.
- Provides facilities for asynchronous communication
- Provides facilities for B2B communication
Architecture
The Overall Architecture of the WS-Addressing Handler is as follows
