Mailing lists are moving!
The Cocoon mailing lists will soon change to use the new cocoon.apache.org domain name, as Cocoon is now a top-level Apache project.
More info will be posted here in due time.
The names will change as follows:
cocoon-users@xml.apache.org -> users@cocoon.apache.org cocoon-dev@xml.apache.org -> dev@cocoon.apache.org cocoon-docs@xml.apache.org -> docs@cocoon.apache.org

There are various Cocoon mailing lists (cocoon-docs, cocoon-dev, cocoon-users, cocoon-cvs). See also Apache XML mailing lists
The archives of the Cocoon Documentation mailing list (and other Cocoon lists) have much useful discussion. Please glean tidbits from the archives and add to this wiki.
