FireSwamp is the traditional name for the physical machine that the main ApacheCon website was hosted on from 2000 - 2005. It includes the CFP database and PHP-driven website that Ken Coar originally wrote to run all of ApacheCon, including registration, CFPs, sponsors, and more.
As the conference grows, the old technology is no longer supportable. This page simply lists various information about this old system, so we don't forget how to use it (at least until we can retire the old db for CFPs and PHP-generated website in favor of a new system).

Anyone object if in my copious free time I clean up the wiki?
How much use should we make of this wiki for institutional memory, instead of relying on the concom@ or planners- mailing lists?
