Apache Turbine Project Board Report, February 2011

Status

The Turbine project has as usual seen fairly low levels of activity in the last quarter.

The Turbine project has no board-level issues at this time.

Project Branding Board Report Checklist - TBC

The requirements are acknowledged, but not yet addressed.

• Project Naming And Descriptions : use proper Apache forms, describe product, etc.
• Website Navigation Links : navbar links included, link to www.apache.org included
• Trademark Attributions : attribution for all ASF marks included in footers, etc.
• Logos and Graphics : include TM, use consistent product logo on your site
• Project Metadata : DOAP file checkedin and up to date
  

Community changes

Ludwig Magnusson has been voted in as a Turbine Committer.

No new PMC members were voted in since the last board report.

Thomas Vandahl has been elected as the new PMC chair.

Turbine core project

The Turbine core project continues with occasional commits.

A Milestone release is planned for the near future. A user poll led to the decision to switch to JDK 6.0 for further development.

No beta or final releases were made since the last board report.

Fulcrum component project

Work on migrating the build process of the Fulcrum components to Maven 2 continues.

No beta or final releases were made since the last board report.

META project

There has been no activity on the META sub-project in this quarter.
