Eclipse Test & Performance Tools Platform (TPTP) Project is a top-level Eclipse project for advanced Java development. It includes TPTP Platform Project, which provides common framework and infrastructure for TPTP services:

• TPTP Monitoring Project provides monitoring and logging tools for collecting and analyzing system and application resources.
  
• TPTP Testing Project provides testing tools for creation, deployment and execution of tests, execution history analysis and reporting, which greatly facilitate testing phase of the application lifecycle. See also Eclipse_Testing_Tools.
  
• TPTP Tracing and Profiling Project provides tracing and profiling tools for collecting and analyzing performance information of both single-system and distributed Java applications.
  

TPTP 4.4.0 includes JVMTI based Java profiler that can be used with Harmony for performance optimization of both Java applications and internal classlib implementation. TPTP profiler tests are included into Harmony CruiseControl runs and Build Test Infrastructure to ensure full Harmony support for Eclipse TPTP profiler.
