|= Board Report Guide =
CouchDB submits a board report once per quarter.
Our PMC chair is responsible for submitting the report, one week before the board meeting.
Our PMC chair will notify the `dev` list when it is time to prepare the report.
To prepare the report, follow this guide.
== Admin Resources ==
Grab a copy of the admin resources:
git clone http://git-wip-us.apache.org/repos/asf/couchdb-admin.git
Any path in this document that references the "couchdb-admin" directory should be modified to point to this Git clone.
== Create a Report Draft ==
Use the [[Board_Report_Template|Board Report Template]] to create a new ''Board_Report/YYYY_MM'' page.
Link to this page from the [[Board_Reports|Board Reports]] page.
=== Compile stats ===
To get mailing list subscriber stats, send an email to:
To get message counts, use MarkMail:
If you are reporting for February 2014, for instance, set the date range to: 201311-201402.
You should see a message count in the MarkMail interface.
This is imprecise as a measurement, but it's good enough for the report.
== Share the Report Draft ==
Send an ''REQUEST'' email to the `dev` list, with a link to the draft report.
The notice email template can be found here:

We have a new wiki. The migration is not 100% complete. You can help out by moving pages across. This wiki will exist for as long as there are pages left.
The official documentation has moved to http://docs.couchdb.org — The transition is not 100% complete, but http://docs.couchdb.org should be seen as having the latest info. In some cases, the wiki still has some more or older info on certain topics inside CouchDB.
