Getting started
The Erlang code generated by Thrift uses a number of Thrift
modules. These modules need to be compiled to be able to use the code generated by Thrift.
Building the Thrift modules in Linux
- If you haven't done so already download a snapshot of the Thrift source code and extract it. - Direct link to the snapshot
- Navigate to
using the terminal of your choice
lib/erl/
- Compile the Thrift modules into BEAM:
make
