Web Services Addressing (WS-Addressing) implementation is basically a Soap Handler which interacts with soap messages to put and get information to and from the xml soap headers.

WS-Addressing provides following features

  1. Enables messaging systems to support message transmission through networks that include processing nodes such as endpoint managers, firewalls, and gateways in a transport-neutral manner
  2. Allows session management over the network which uses heterogeneous transport protocols in different nodes.
  3. Provides facilities for asynchronous communication
  4. Provides facilities for B2B communication

The Overall Architecture of the WS-Addressing Handler is as follows [ATTACH]
