In general, while the Legal Affairs Committee will review, suggest, encourage, or discourage various courses of action, the final decision as to which course to pursue is left up to the relevant PMC.
In the event that the Legal Affairs Commitee and the relevant PMC can not agree on a whether a given dependency on a third party work is acceptable, disputes will be resolved at the board level.
