Here's how you can help us test the distribution.

Add this to your pom.xml (a node inside <project> )

myfaces core 1.1.x, 1.2.x, 2.0.x and tomahawk use myfaces-builder-plugin so the most easy way is modify its pom (api/pom.xml, impl/pom.xml for example) for use it, then mvn install and check the generated artifacts.

Note: Preparing the release will create the new tag in SVN, automatically checking in on your behalf.

Note: If you're located in Europe then release:prepare may fail with 'Unable to tag SCM' and 'svn: No such revision X'. Wait 10 seconds and run mvn release:prepare again.

Hi,

I was running the needed tasks to get the 1.0.8 release of Apache
MyFaces Builder Plugin out.

This release includes some minor changes necessary to build myfaces core 2.0.x and 
other improvements like:

- MYFACES-2955 Allow projects using myfaces builder plugin to be open on Netbeans IDE 6.8
- MYFACES-2956 build-metadata goal does not take into account exclude generated source
  directory on myfaces-builder-plugin
- MYFACES-2963 Set default templates automatically when jsfVersion is 20 or 2.0 with 
  myfaces-builder-plugin
- MYFACES-2867 Migrate to Velocity 1.6
- MYFACES-2938 Allow @JSFValidator and @JSFConverter to define custom tagHandler class
- MFCOMMONS-17 Add facelet function findComponent (fix to allow put additional stuff on 
  generated facelets-taglib)
- MYFACES-2962 Descriptions of components, attributes, etc. are missing in taglib.xml 
  files generated by MyFaces Builder Plugin

 1. Maven artifact group "org.apache.myfaces.buildtools" artifact "myfaces-builder-plugin" v1.0.8 [1]
 2. Maven artifact group "org.apache.myfaces.buildtools" artifact "myfaces-builder-annotations" v1.0.7 [1]

The artifacts were deployed to a nexus repository ([1]).

Please take a look at the "1.0.8" artifacts and vote!

The Apache MyFaces team is pleased to announce the release of
Apache MyFaces Builder Plugin.

Apache MyFaces Builder Plugin is a maven plugin, used internally in
other projects like myfaces core and tomahawk for generate component classes,
tag classes, faces-config files, .tld files and facelets taglib files. In other
words, its several maven goals provide a component kit for generate jsf
components with minimal effort.

Apache MyFaces Builder Plugin is available in the central Maven repository under
Group ID "org.apache.myfaces.buildtools".
