Jetspeed 2 now has "in context" page customization! By clicking the "Customize" link at the top of the page, you are now able to move portlets around on the page, in WYSWYG fashion, i.e. you are always seeing the end result of your customization because you never leave the standard page view screen. This differs from Jetspeed 1, in which the customizer was an entirely different screen. The "in context" customization approach of Jetspeed 2 will make for an easy-to-use, seemless user-experience.

The customizer UI is still rough around the edges, but hey, it was only days worth of work! Look for more customization features and refinements in the very near future.
