The PCAP Topology is designed to take network packets off of the PCAP Kafka topic and store them in HDFS as Sequence files. It has a single bolt that functions as a Kafka Spout, and HDFS Writer, where it stores the packets into HDFS. The PCAP Topology has a hard dependency on the PCAP Probe.
