Website Release Changes
This is a list of website updates that should be made for a new release.
- Update news in solr/src/site/src/documentation/content/xdocs/index.xml - see Website_Update_HOWTO. This update should be included in the release artifacts. |
|Note: be sure to deploy the updated website once the release is ready as well |
- Add the new release info to the doap.rdf file. | |Note: double check for any other updates that should be made to the doap file as well if it hasn't been updated in a while | | |Note: this file is used to power Solr's Listing on http://projects.apache.org/ as well as the Recent Apache Releases RSS feed |
- Update news for main lucene.apache.org site stored at https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/lucene/cms/trunk. This change may require additional rights or patch submitted to the Lucene PMC - see http://lucene.apache.org/site-instructions.html
