Lots of good restaurants in Vegas. Please share your favorites here, along with addresses, directions, GPS coordinates, or whatever. Thanks.

Hamburger Mary's is the closest: 3 min walk for reliable burgers and the like: http://www.usmenuguide.com/hamburgermarys.html

The Hard Rock is across the street from Mary's, with some entertainment - you'll either kind of like it, or you'll hate it: http://www.hardrockhotel.com/ Note that this Hard Rock includes a number of separate restaraunts:

  • Nobu excellent, if expensive, Japanese and sushi
  • AJ's Steakhouse, as you'd expect
  • Pink Taco, reasonably priced mexican
  • Simon and Mr. Lucky's, gambling-table-side quick eats
  • Starbucks, ubiquitous as it ever is

Between the above two places, plus a noodle place in the small mini-mall behind Hamburger Mary's, you may never bother to go anywhere else during the conference (these are the only easy walks from the AlexisPark). Of course, it is Las Vegas, so there's plenty of other wild eateries within a moderate walk or quick cab ride.

Oh, and there's always the bar at the AlexisPark, always a favorite spot to drink & hack. There's a restaraunt too, but I've never eaten there.
