SpamAssassin Wiki

inline:sawikilogo.gif

SpamAssassin is a mature, widely-deployed open source project that serves as a mail filter to identify spam, also known as unsolicited commercial email (UCE). SpamAssassin uses a variety of mechanisms including header and text analysis, Bayesian filtering, DNS blocklists, and collaborative filtering databases.

Our Collaborative Manual: The SpamAssassin community has created this collaborative documentation using a Wiki. These pages are edited by the community, and replace the previous FAQ.

Editing pages: Due to wiki spam, you will not be able to edit pages on this wiki until you create a user profile for yourself using the UserPreferences page. Also, please create a HomePage for yourself with your email address on it so you can be contacted if needs be.

Standard Wiki Front Page Stuff

A WikiWikiWeb is a collaborative hypertext environment, with an emphasis on easy access to and modification of information. This one runs on MoinMoin.

You can edit any page by pressing the link at the bottom of the page. Capitalized words joined together form a WikiName, which hyperlinks to another page. The highlighted title searches for all pages that link to the current page. Pages which do not yet exist are linked with a question mark: just follow the link and you can add a definition.

To learn more about what a WikiWikiWeb is, read about MoinMoin:WhyWikiWorks and the MoinMoin:WikiNature. Also, consult the MoinMoin:WikiWikiWebFaq.
