Setup your ASF id
Note: You should have received or should get a mail welcoming you in the next hours, you will need that mail before you can proceed further.
This is an important step and you should do it now. Jump to this page https://id.apache.org/ and
- insert your PGP fingerprint -> it will be available at https://people.apache.org/keys/committer/ eventually
- set a good password
Create a FOAF file
This is an optional step. The ASF is using this file format (XML) to make informations about you available. Jump to this page and fill the form http://people.apache.org/foaf/foafamatic.html. When done follow these steps:
- create file: <your_asf_username>.rdf
- checkout svn repo https://svn.apache.org/repos/private/committers/info
- commit <your_asf_username>.rdf
- find your entry here: http://people.apache.org/committers
Other Accounts
- Jenkins is our continuous integration tool. Create an account and then ping Jan Lehnardt.
- Pootle is our translation tool. Log in using your ASF username and password, and your account will be created for you automatically.
- JIRA is our ticket system. Create an account and then let a PMC member know.
- Confluence is our wiki. Create an account and then let a PMC member know. Add yourself to the team page!
